Healdsburg physical therapy was founded in 1977 by Mary Linehan and Lawrence Shephard. It was initially called Healdsburg Physical therapy, Biofeedback and Rehabilitation Center. It was originally located at 626 Johnson Street next to Dr. Lighfoot’s office and across the street from the old Healdsburg Hospital. Ron Marinelli and joined Larry Shephard several years later.
The business was purchased by Angela Garcia-Cook PT in 2011. Since that time the location of the business has moved from March avenue to Healdsburg avenue then back to March avenue. The current location offers 4 private treatment rooms as well as an open gym space. Physical therapy services have been provided there for nearly 50 years. It has always been a private practice dedicated to helping those with musculoskeletal and movement dysfunctions.
